Welcome to Galaxy Draperies’ warranty information page! If you’re looking for our warranties or that of our leading manufacturers, you’re in the right place. If you can’t find what you’re looking for and don’t have a copy of your warranty at the time of your purchase, feel free to give us a call and we can help!

Our Warranties & Repairs

We at Galaxy Draperies guarantee our labor for one year from your installation appointment. Even if the problem is with the product specifically, we’ll work directly with your product’s manufacturer within your product warranty to ensure you get the best, long lasting results.

Simply visit our Repair Request page and fill out our form, describing what’s wrong and including a few photos of the damage. We’ll get in touch with you and send someone out to help as soon as we can!

If your product is outside our one year labor guarantee, don’t worry. We’re still here to help!

Simply visit our Repair Request page and fill out our form with details and photos of the problem. We’ll send someone out to take a look and fix things for you, and work directly with your product’s manufacturer within your product warranty to ensure you get the best, long lasting results. While the manufacturer’s warranty often covers the majority or full cost of replacement items, they do not cover our service charge, so we do charge a service fee for our installer’s trip and time.

Warranties by Manufacturer

Manufacturer Warranty – Graber Limited Lifetime Warranty:

What’s covered:
  • Original defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product (unless shorter periods are noted below), provided the product was properly installed
  • All internal mechanisms, components, and brackets
  • For three (3) years from the date of purchase: operating cords, pleated shades without looped tape, 2″ horizontal vinyl blind slats, and vertical blind vanes
  • For five (5) years from date of purchase: motorization components and accessories (batteries not included), draperies, fabric covered cornices and valances, fabric tailored shades and accessories, exterior solar shades (provided they are fully raised during inclement weather and windy conditions)
  • Repairs under this warranty will be made with like or similar parts
What’s not covered:
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by abuse, accidents, alterations, misuse; failure to follow instructions for measurement, installation, use, cleaning, or maintenance
  • Discoloration, fading, cracking, shrinking or stretching caused by long exposure to direct sunlight
  • Slight color variation; natural variations in color, grain, or weave of organic materials
  • Slight warpage of wood blinds or shutters; excessive warpage caused by high humidity
  • Shipping or labor costs incurred by taking product down, re-measuring, or re-installation
  • Unfinished cornices and valances; Palladian shelves

Please note that SWF may defer actions on any claim for warping for a period of up to twelve (12) months from the date of the claim in order to permit acclimating to humidity and temperature conditions.

Warranty claims must be accompanied by the original sales receipt as well as details regarding the nature of the problem, location of the product, etc. Warranty claims may be submitted to the Customer Service Center at:

The obligations of Springs Window Fashions are limited to the repair or replacement of parts or products found to be defective.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WRITTEN OR ORAL WARRANTIES OR OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES. SPRINGS WINDOW FASHIONS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

SPRINGS WINDOW FASHIONS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental, punitive or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

No person is authorized to extend or alter this warranty.

SunSetter Awnings Warranty

Every model SunSetter Series Awning – and optional Awning Accessories – comes with a 5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY against defects in materials and workmanship. Every Platinum Series Awning – and optional Awning Accessories – comes with a 10-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY against defects in materials and workmanship.

All Weather Warranty

(*Not included unless purchased as an optional add-on)

For the ultimate peace of mind, add the optional All Weather Limited Warranty to your order. This warranty gives additional protection to your investment, even against damage due to sever weather and storms. 5-YEAR LIMITED MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

Somfy’s 5-Year Warranty

Somfy offers end product suppliers a 5-year warranty on all motors and controls. Specifically, Somfy warrants its motors and controls to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of 5 years commencing with the date stamped on each product. If the Somfy product fails within this 5 year period, Somfy will repair or replace it free of charge through your end product supplier (that’s us!).

 

While we do our best to keep every manufacturer’s information up-to-date, they may change without notice. You may have received a copy of the manufacturer’s warranty at time of purchase which you can reference as well. If you are unsure, please contact your manufacturer for specific instructions or give us a call. We’re happy to help!
