Sheer Overture Shades
Clean and modern “soft blinds” describe modern sheer shades. They have a similar look to blinds, but they’re made from two layers of fabric. Sheer material is woven as one continuous piece of fabric that closes to block light. When you want filtered, softened light you can open vanes in a variety of sizes to allow light through the transparent and UV filtering fabric.
Like other shades, you can also choose to fully open or close your sheer shades! Combine the gentle fabric attributes of fabric shades with the light control and functionality of blinds. They come in many beautiful textures, colors, and patterns so you can choose your favorite style for your home easily.
Layered Mezzanine Zebra Shades
Layered, Mezzanine, Zebra… whatever you call these shades, they are stunning. Clean, sleek lines can create great visual appeal in your room, no matter your style.
Like sheer shades, they have a layer of transparent fabric and a layer of more opaque fabric, but as alternating bands. The opacity is up to you!
When operated, you can alternate the sheer and opaque bands to allow in gently filtered light. Or, line up opaque bands to block light and grant privacy. They’re available in a wide variety of exclusive prints, patterns, and textures for a modern feel and gorgeous end result. We also ensure the bands are lined up if you put them on side-by-side windows for a consistent look throughout your home.
Of course, you can also motorize the shades and fully open them where they disappear into their headrail. No blocked views, just beautiful window coverings!
Motorization
Our sheer and layered shades can also be motorized and effortlessly controlled via Somfy, which works with Alexa and Google Assistant through “if this then that” tech (IFTTT). Additionally, this technology can be integrated with other home automation platforms and can be controlled through the app, even when you aren’t home.
What’s more, these window treatments don’t require a cord, making them a smart choice for homeowners with small children or pets, as a cord is a strangulation hazard.
With motorized window treatments, you can easily control the window treatments on difficult-to-reach windows.
