A Look Inside The Drapery Showroom
Welcome to the wonderful world of Galaxy Draperies. We’re glad you could join us on this grandiose tour and we hope you enjoy yourself. If virtual tours aren’t your cup of tea, you can find our address at the end of the blog, or view our project photo gallery…let’s carry on!
Did you know: Galaxy Draperies has been family run and operated ever since it started in 1976.
Please gather around as we are going to start the tour. Is everyone ready?
Say, “Hi,” as we make our way through the lobby and begin the tour of one of our favorite rooms.

Custom Soft Treatments
Just right of the lobby, we’ve entered the breathtaking room of soft treatments filled with custom curtains and draperies. Feel free to wander around and take a look at the custom pillows, bedspreads, and lavishing layered treatments with the “oh-so-sexy” finishing touches.
Did you know: We have in-house seamstresses who stitch together our custom designed soft treatments.
Now, take note of your favorite styles and products. We will have them prepared for you by the time we sit down for your design consultation.
All our designs can be customized to match your style. The best way to be inspired is to walk into this room that is full of vibrant colors! We could stay here all day looking at luxurious fabrics, but we have to continue on the tour.

Sophisticated Automation Tools
Welcome to the motorized window treatments and home automation room, where everything is automated. Don’t be alarmed if things start moving. They’ve been programmed to move up, down, and all around!
Did you know: You can control your window treatments from your iPhone no matter where you are.
In this room, the mysterious future becomes reality.
The television, lights, and window treatments are all controlled from an iPad on the wall.
Oh! Everyone, we have such perfect timing! Watch as the Movie Theater program has started.
The lights are dimming, the curtains are opening, and the TV is turning on. Talk about home entertainment! Although this is enchanting, down the hallway is where the true magic happens.
Designers’ Workroom
And now we have the Designers’ Workroom, where you will sit down with a designer. Here we’ll start looking at your window covering options as we explore the design process together. Please feel free to take a look around at the options in the room for your color palette and what really suits your interior design styles.
Did you know: Galaxy Draperies has over 800 window covering fabric and material options.
Who doesn’t loves options – am I right? Well, we’ve got ’em all!
We have endivess accessories, highlights, rings, and diamonds – any style you can think of designing.
This is where the creative juices are flowing. You can really let your personal style shine. Oh, looks like we walked in on a design consultation. Let’s let them have their design time together.
We’re moving on to the final room of the tour.
Layered Window Treatments
The final room we’ve entered is where all of the previous rooms come together with layered window treatments. We have top treatments, blinds, shades, draperies, cornice boxes, anything you can think of putting together.
Did you know: You can combine blinds, draperies, and motorization together into one window treatment design.
Travel through this room to get inspiration on how to combine or polish off your window treatments.
No need to pick one product over the other. As you can tell, you can get really creative taking functionalities, features, and styles from one product and combine them with another.
