Selling Sunset: Jason Oppenheim Opts for Automation

Window Treatments & OTHER LUXURIOUS DETAILS FOR Jason Oppenheim’s House

The LA Market is hot, and real estate agent and attorney Jason Oppenheim wanted to update his own home. Designer Jgoiey Ramirez brought us in on this complete remodel of Jason’s own luxury home. Keep an eye out of this stunning home on Netflix’s series Selling Sunset, featuring Jason and The Oppenheim Group.

Starting from Scratch

Sometimes we come into homes and add some finishing touches or replace worn and outdated blinds, but other times, clients want to just start over from the bare bones of a home. Here’s a sneak peek of the ‘before’ shots of a room so you can see how much the space was stripped down for this project.

Automation and Improved Sleep for the Master Bedroom

In the master bedroom, Jason opted for blackout motorized drapes on an iron rod. The bedroom not only has a beautiful view with plenty of natural light, but elements were added for some modern and stunning decor, complete with wine glasses, an analog clock and even a built-in ladder on a track for both visual appeal and functionality to reach the high places. The large screen television actually comes down from the ceiling and retracts for an unobstructed view when not in use.

Blackout drapes not only improve your quality of sleep, but motorization makes opening and closing happen at the literal push of a button. Check out the video to see it in action!

Natural Wood (and a Real Tree) and Beautiful Pops of Color Throughout

The home features plenty of beautiful wood texture, natural light through large windows and skylights, and really uses the colors of nature throughout most of the design. However with pops of beautiful color, like the dining room chairs, and exciting details such as the literal tree through an open area in the floor, it has plenty of character and visual interest throughout.

Bathrooms to Die For

Ever dreamed of having an in-home sauna? A walk-in double shower? How about an outdoor bathtub? Well, Jason’s now got all of those in this stunning bathroom. Note the continuation throughout of the same wood designs with burnt orange accents, like the interior of the tub. The double sinks with stone basins add a rustic and still very modern design touch we adore. Little accents like the rolled towels on the shelf really add to the feeling like you’re in an upscale spa instead of your own home.

Luxury Backyard Pools and Lounge Spaces

Of course, no modern LA mansion is complete without its own personal pool. The built-in fireplace and comfortable outdoor lounge chairs add a feel of sheer luxury. And that sunset view is to die for.

We hope you enjoyed this peek inside this beautiful home! We love making peoples’ design dreams come true. Keep an eye out for this home on Selling Sunset. Thank you Jason and the rest of the team for letting us be a part of this beautiful dream home makeover.
